NAKASHIMA HTEC Driver

FANTASTIC!! The remarkable news here is the fitting system. Featured in May 2006 Golf Digest (page 233) the key to this 460cc head is the removable hosel that can be epoxied onto any shaft. This allows you to test different shaft and head loft combinations and then walk away with the actual best fitting driver you find. In other fitting systems, the club you order usually doesn't feel or play the same as the club you tested due to different manufacturing and assembly variables. The removable hosel is inserted into the Nakashima HTEC head and secured with a screw, which is available in 3 different weights 10, 12 and 14 grams (this allows you to adjust the swingweight depending on the length of the shaft and how much head feel you prefer).


The HTEC Driver from Nakashima adds a new dimension never before found in OEM (original equipment manufacturer) golf driver technology. The HTEC Driver head has been designed with a completely removable hosel made from CNC milled 7075 Aircraft-Grade Aluminum. This feature allows the Nakashima HTEC head to be quickly and easily assembled with any shaft. Nakashima HTEC enables golfers to try any head and shaft combination with ease and then buy the actual club tested! This leaves no possible variations between the tested demo club and the one you end up buying off the rack that is supposed to be the same but rarely feels the same.

Another unique possibility is to buy a low launch and high launch shaft and easily switch between the two to best suit course and wind conditions for the day. How about an extra long lightweight shaft for play on a wide open course for extra distance and a short, heavyweight shaft with the heavier 14g screw for a control club on tight courses.

This system may be the best ever and is definately going to be the wave of the future (Suggested retail price is $580.00 US$).
